I have always had a number of threads to my research activities, and at the moment I am concentrating on the following main projects:
Gravity Waves and Gravity Wave Parameterisations (with Alison Pamment): GwaveNotes.
Clouds and Cloud Parameterisations in GCMs (two projects: grape, and work with graduate student Jonathan Flowerdew).
Ocean/Atmosphere Coupling (with Alan Iwi and Scott Osprey). See Statistical Model.
Mesospheric Dynamics (with Ruth Liebermann)
Data Assimilation (with Martin Juckes)
Other interests still include many aspects of more general middle atmosphere dyamics, including ozone transport, and general transport dynamics.
In the past I have worked on aspects of Air Pollution (with then graduate student Andy Reisinger).
